Interview
with Mr. Adrian Shawˇ]Country Managerˇ^

Some schoolmates and I recently went to interview the
Country Manager of MFI. I was very nervous at the beginning,
but Mr. Adrian Shaw helped me feel better as he was very
nice. He told us the story of MFI, which was originally
short for ˇ§Mullard Furniture Industriesˇ¨. Now it is the
abbreviation for ˇ§More Furniture Ideasˇ¨. New ideas make
MFI the leading brand in the market. It was very nice
to meet and talk to Mr. Shaw, and I thought it was a very
special experience. |

My mum, two schoolmates, two teachers and I went to
interview the Country Manager of MFI ˇV Mr. Shaw. It
was a good chance to talk to a British manager. Before
the interview I was a bit nervous and I had butterflies
in my stomach. I think Mr. Shaw was wondering what kind
of questions we were going to ask him. I learned that
a boss has to have good communication and people management
skills. Mr. Shaw also told us that English is an important
and useful language, so I think it is important to study
hard. I enjoyed the interview and hope I can interview
another boss some other time.

It was a great VIP interview. We went to MFI. It was my
first important interview so I was very nervous. My teacher
told me not to be nervous because we were guests of Mr.
Shaw. When I saw Mr. Shaw, I didnˇ¦t feel nervous anymore
because he was very nice and interesting. When we started
the interview I had to concentrate very hard. Sometimes
he asked us questions and he also made some good jokes.
At the end Mr. Shaw gave us some very nice gifts. We were
all very happy and now I will take my mother and father
shopping in MFI. Afterwards, I wished that I could speak
to Mr. Shaw again and make friends with him. Of course,
I will never forget this VIP interview. It was a great
experience. |
